George Lowndes Williams

For over 25 years, Mr. Williams has been helping leaders achieve their business goals; from SMBs to Fortune 500 companies and governments. He is a proven expert with a unique ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and get the desired result fast. Currently, Mr. Williams is the CEO of BestWorkplace, Inc., a private equity firm and President of BenefitSimply, Inc., a SaaS company providing healthcare, human resources, and employee benefit services. He is also the Founder and Managing Member of USA Land, LLC, a real estate development firm with holdings in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida. Mr. Williams started his career in employee benefits at Aflac, in 1995, where he excelled in sales, recruiting, training, and leadership development. In 2006, he was hand selected to help Aflac overhaul sales and leadership training on a national level. In 2010, Mr. Williams retired his career contract and joined Layne Financial (BOST), where he helped the founders grow the company and develop its Bnyu enrollment technology. He also developed the Technology Wrap for Wells Fargo’s private benefits exchange for commercial banking clients. Mr. Williams was a partner at Layne Financial, until his exit in 2015.

Philanthropic Involvement

Mr. Williams is currently a board member of the Beresford Hall Assembly and Young Life. He previously served as Chairman of the Palmetto Christian Academy and East Cooper Baptist Church personnel committee. Mr. Williams has also served or held positions with American Cancer Society, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Rotary International and Jobs for Life.
